ok I don't like saying things in here but I do like reading them so I will cave in a little, especially as I’m almost certain I only have 2 or 3 readers one of which already knows me quite well.

I was a child of the 70’s so any fashion mistakes were my mothers until I was about 14 then I made a new record in tacky, it’s been all down hill from there!

I love taking photos, I had my own camera when I was 8 & used to spend most of my pocket money on film & developing film (and stationery!). Since going digital 2 years ago a day doesn’t go by with out me taking at least one photo, hate being in them though but think it’s important to get over it & have photos taken of myself every now & then for when I’m even older & greyer!

I’ve never really fitted in anywhere, I’m a sort of geeky yet on the verge of trendy (before it’s trendy) sci-fi, comic, film nerd, artist, extreme sportiest, chubby chick who has a sort of eclectic approach to just about everything music, art, food, books, film, friends, I’m now fine with that, In fact I even like my quirkiness it makes me different, just like all the other people.

I have a strange sense of humour (see above)

I did go to art collage, I even got into Camberwell, and despite not even applying there my application got forwarded. I was one of over 2,000 people who applied, only1000 people got to leave they’re portfolios and 500 got to have interviews and only 150 people got on the course. So it was kinda like winning the lottery.

And I loved every min of it but I knew I wouldn’t be able to make a living as an artist. As although people say they liked my work, I never got that wow, your so different or amazing (and I’m not fishing for compliments) I still don’t and I’m ok with that too.

So I’m a work to live kinda person not a live to work.

I have a partner R of 10 years, I have 4 cats or more to the point I’m owned by cats (we’ve always had cats I was even hatched by one) & cats follow me, the local cats if they can’t get in will find me & get me to knock on the door to get them let in, weird I know!

I have one brother who now lives in the states with his adorable wife & I miss them like crazy!

I also have a foster brother who I haven’t seen properly in the last 11 years, I am trying to resolve this but it’s complicated. I wish it wasn’t!

I am actually blessed  to have quite a lot of friends & even a good handful of true blue friends (those who you know if anything happened to them you’d adopt they’re kids & you will go out of your way to help and more importantly they would do the same)

My mother gave me some advice when I was young which I have found very helpful

“ Find the other person that is picked on, alone & friendless & make them your friend, it will make life easier on the both of you”
